Verdict

Dayrina had shown a little promise at Leopardstown last month before a poor effort over 7f on the same track where she was behind today's rival Mallt, who looks as though she needs further. Ger Lyons has a couple of entries and Burn The Boats, a half-brother to the useful sprinter Rain Delayed, could prove best of the pair. Kevin Prendergast's horses are still in good form and the filly Catamount will no doubt attract support but Edward Lynam does well on this track and DIMITAR could be good enough to make a winning start. The first foal of a 5f two-year-old winner, he'll have enough pace and hopefully will be ready to do himself justice.
