Verdict

GOLANTILLA, a very impressive winner of a point-to-point and a bumper, ran a tremendous race when third to Briar Hill in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham and can take this before heading back there for another crack next month. Killultagh Vic couldn't quite handle the useful Wounded Warrior at Navan then scrambled home over 2m3f here so the four-year-old Red House Hill may prove more of a threat. He was well supported on his debut at Down Royal and duly obliged with the suggestion there was more to come. Victoria Hill had reportedly been schooling well so it was a surprise when he was sent off 33/1 for his debut and even more of a shock when he battled to victory. There was no fluke about it and there's no reason why he shouldn't go well again.
