Verdict

Lethal Promise is top-rated here and her run behind Soffia in a Group 2 at the Curragh on Sunday is best ignored as she missed the break and never got involved. Woody Creek improved out of handicaps to be beaten a head in a Listed contest at the Curragh which puts her in the picture while James Tate wouldn't have had many runners in Ireland so Shimmering Dawn is respected despite her hat-trick coming in minor company. Archie Watson sends over a similar type in Probablility, who has never run on Turf while the four-year-olds Gold Filigree and Heavenly Holly also arrive from the UK with preference just for the latter. SERVALAN was beaten just over a length when runner-up to Lethal Promise at this level at Cork In May. She's 3lb better off and her stable remain in top form so she gets the nod. Cava was beaten 10l in that latter event and though she's made major strides she may be better over another furlong.
