In depth

Verdict

Brendan Duke thinks the world of Warm The Voice, owned by Jim and Jackie Bolger, and he deserves a crack at this level after completing a hat-trick in a Galway maiden and two very tough nurseries. He was narrowly beaten behind Delano Roosevelt when both made their debuts at Leopardstown in July and there looks very little between them again. The latter is one of three trained at Ballydoyle and though Saxon Warrior is the least experienced of them he looked very impressive when beating Jim Bolger's Meagher's Flag at the Curragh, though the runner-up hasn't done much for the form. KEW GARDENS looked as though he already needed further when chasing home Nelson over this trip at Leopardstown but today's conditions will play to his strengths and he's taken to come out best this time. Riyazan completes the line-up and was around three lengths behind the selection in that latter event.
