NORTH WIND has earned an official rating of 94 despite not having looked like winning. He was last in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket but his two runs behind Van Beethoven here and at the Curragh set the standard and he can finally lose his maiden tag. Dragons Call was going on at the finish over the minimum at the Curragh and will make progress as will Paisean, who drops down in trip after a reasonable debut over 7f at Leopardstown last week.
