KUWAIT STATION (NAP) understandably failed to back up a promising debut success at Ripon when well beaten in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. The return to a northern novice contest should boost confidence and he can concede weight to all rivals with the form of that Ripon success being nicely franked by the runner-up going on to win a decent contest at Epsom. Havana Ooh Na Na has been quite highly tried, notably last time at York and could show more here although he does appear to be more of a nursery project. Cognac Blue represents the Fahey team but Fighting Spirit looks next best having shown flickers of talent in three starts, although nurseries beckon for her too.
