Verdict

Dandy Highwayman would go close on the best of his form, notably when a fine fourth at York three starts ago in a competitive sprint won by Paddy Power. However, the last two runs have been way below par, he was tailed off the last day and has yet to tackle this 7f trip. Therefore, SULTAN BAYBARS, sure to stay well and contesting much better races on recent starts, makes greater appeal. The pair are well clear on official ratings of their rivals, of whom Kody Ridge and Super D J are next best although both will have to improve considerably if the top two are anywhere close to their best.
