Verdict
Bosham ran a fine race when a close second at Beverley on Monday evening and is a leading contender if turned out quickly, even though he remains more effective on artificial surfaces. Longroom was taken out at Musselburgh on Tuesday and is now re-routed here. He ran well behind Line Of Reason at Ayr last time in a better race and is one to consider carefully. Dapper Man has been one of the sprinting success stories of the season and is now a massive 26lb higher than when scoring here in April at Class 6 level. He has been superbly well handled by Roger Fell and must go well again despite his burden. It's very tempting to row in with him but MERRY BANTER has a good record at this track and hopefully can be bounced out quickly to maximise her early toe. She's a value alternative.
