Verdict
Most of these are battle-hardened handicappers with Magical Vision a fascinating exception. The mare didn't see a racecourse until last season at the age of five, when landing two of her three starts on heavy ground. She's hard to assess but is potentially thrown in and could still be anything. However, she may not offer too much in the way of value and HALF NUTZ is preferred, especially as the McGuinness gelding should be available at an each-way price. He only finished half a length behind Magical Vision here in November but may well be better suited by this additional furlong, and also has the benefit of a pleasing fifth-place finish at Dundalk just over three weeks ago under his belt. Mickey The Steel is respected off topweight and is shortlisted along with Shoebox King and Sounds Of Spring.
