Verdict

Early-season maidens are often tricky to unravel as much depends on progress made from two to three, but RUN RAN RUN should give a good account having gone close at The Curragh on his sole juvenile start when only beaten a neck over this trip. Crucially, he handled heavy ground really well that day and therefore should be at home on the forecast conditions. Red Letter Bray hasn't been seen since July but the New Bay colt showed plenty of promise behind the high-class Auguste Rodin and the booking of Colin Keane suggests connections mean business. Capital Guarantee and Desert Haven arrive with considerable experience to call upon and command respect, whilst the market should point the way with newcomers Windsor Road and First Gentleman.
