Verdict

Whether this will have any bearing on next month's Oaks is another matter but MOTH would be an obvious contender if taking her chance at the Curragh. A close third to Sky Lantern in the 1000 Guineas then fourth in the Oaks at Epsom, she's well exposed now but her overall form looks good enough to gain just the second victory of her career before she heads for the classic. Her stablemate Venus De Milo doesn't hold an entry in the big race but she is in a Group 2 and showed plenty of potential on her debut at Fairyhouse. Bunairgead ran very well behind Viztoria in a Curragh Group 3 before a fair run in the Irish 1000 Guineas while the likes of Majenta, a winner over 1m2f earlier this month, and Rocktique, who stayed on strongly to make a winning debut over a mile at Navan, can show enough improvement to get involved.
