Business Speak has been unable to add to his trainer's excellent recent tally though he's run well in tough maidens and steps up in trip. Emporio took a while to warm up over 7f at Naas but stayed on nicely. Laelaps couldn't quite get to the odds-on Matchless at Listowel but that was an improved run but XERES looked one to follow when a close third to Ontario at Galway. Noel Meade's charge got upset in the stalls back there next time and didn't show his true form so compensation awaits. National Ballet is certain to improve for his run at the Curragh while Team Of Firsts is related to three winners.
