Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this last year with the odds-on Gossamer Wings and TANGO will be at even shorter odds. She started favourite for what looked a very strong fillies' maiden at the Curragh but couldn't quite contain the late thrust of Albigna. But You Said made a reasonable start at Naas and her stable continue in superb form but Artisan Doue will need to improve on last week's moderate debut at Down Royal. Gold Brocade has a nice pedigree so why she went back to her breeder for E1000 at the Goffs Sale in November is a mystery.
