Verdict
BLOOD COTIL's form since arriving from France has been a bit of a mixed bag but he's only five and has a big future. Willie Mullins sent him back to France to land a Grade 3 over hurdles in May of last year and he made his debut over fences in January but fell when in the lead at the second last at Cork. He was well behind today's rival Gilgamboa in a lucrative handicap back over hurdles at Leopardstown a few weeks later but was conceding plenty of weight and had no luck in-running. The winner looks the main threat here as though eventually well beaten behind Vautour in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham he was well there until fading at the second last. Chute Hall is bred for chasing so he's done well to score over hurdles while the hugely expensive Empire Of Dirt won a Listed contest over timber at Naas in March. Legal Exit looked a nice prospect when last seen but may just need this after a long break.
