In depth

Verdict

The Blue Panther came in for support and made a reasonable start on testing ground at Naas but faces some well-connected newcomers here. CHIEF LITTLE HAWK is by top-class juvenile and first-season sire Air Force Blue, who had a winner with his first-ever runner at Gulfstream last week, out of a USA Grade 1 winner who has produced seven winners. Hyde Park Barracks is by the same sire and a half-brother to four winners while Forest Of Dreams cost 900,000gns and is a half-brother to three winners. Laelaps is a half-brother to a couple of 7f winners and looks likely to need further but Tar Heel has plenty of speed in his pedigree being related to six winners up to a mile and out of a smart 6f two-year-old winner.
