In depth

Verdict

Buckhurst is penalised for his Group 3 victories over 1m2f at the Curragh. His hat-trick bid came unstuck when tackling 1m4f at Leopardstown where he'd won over this trip earlier. Mount Everest is top-rated after his victory in a 1m2f Listed race at Leopardstown for which he has a 3lb penalty. He's been on his travels subsequently and could find this on the short side. ANCIENT SPIRIT was beaten only a head in that latter contest when conceding 4lb. That was his first start for Jessica Harrington and with a 7lb pull should reverse the form. San Andreas really found his form at Dundalk and has fitness on his side while Ken Condon sent Trais Fluors, six-times a winner in France for Andre Fabre, to the Breeders' Cup and Saudi Arabia for his first two starts for the yard. Inhale has joined Henry De Bromhead from Michael Bell and wouldn't be racing in this grade unless thought capable of going well.
