    Verdict

HIDDEN CRACK has had mixed fortunes over fences but can gain his second success. Left in the lead when scoring easily at Down Royal, he would have followed up at Clonmel but for falling at the last and compensation awaits here. Healys Bar was a very useful hurdler who hasn't done anywhere near as well over fences. However, he's run in better company and is no forlorn hope despite a big weight. Ad Idem is a similar type but at least has a victory over the bigger obstacles to his credit. This is his first start in a handicap and there's no doubt he has the ability to get competitive. Wicklow Lad has been running well over shorter trips and would be a threat if staying the extra but Posh Bird has a poor strike-rate and is likely to find at least one too good again.
