    Verdict

    SO YOUNG has an entry in the Irish Champion Hurdle in a fortnight though his stable have rather stronger representation and he's more likely to go the staying hurdle route. He showed enough pace to score over this trip a year ago and at Thurles last time though he looks certain to find Trifolium a worthy adversary. Charles Bryne's charge made all to beat the useful Plan A comfortably at Limerick and is progressing fast enough to be a major threat in receipt of 5lb. Oilily was a fine novice last season and finished runner-up in a Grade 2 at Aintree when Perfect Smile was around 15l behind her. She didn't look at her best at Leopardstown last month though the 2m4f trip looked too far and she's no forlorn hope.
