In depth

Verdict

Oscar Dan Dan, a Grade 2 winner over hurdles, has run poorly on both starts over fences to date and is difficult to fancy until showing more enthusiasm for the bigger obstacles. Ross Na Righ was decent enough over hurdles and could do even better over fences but this looks between Spanish Auriga and BAGBER. The former finished runner-up five times in six starts over hurdles and made a fine chasing debut after a very long break at Fairyhouse last month. He's certain to improve for that but it's Bagber who gets the nod as, despite having anything but a jumping pedigree, he made a winning start over timber last March and ran even better in a strong contest at Punchestown in May.
