Verdict

Dinny Lacey won a Punchestown bumper in February and made a promising debut over timber in what looked a decent maiden over this track and trip. Dual bumper winner Run Wild Fred didn't quite come up to expectations on his hurdling bow at Gowran so the vote goes to the mare ET DITE. Willie Mullins' recruit from France had more than two years off before making her hurdling bow at Naas and, though eventually weakening, should have come on enough to take this. Joshua Webb ran poorly on his debut over timber at Fairyhouse after landing a bumper on this track.
