Spirit Of Legend had a subsequent winner in second when scoring over 2m4f here in November but couldn't quite contain a well-supported winner over the same trip at Leopardstown. Ifiwerearichman was a 100/1 chance when a close third on his hurdling bow at Clonmel and showed that was no fluke when making all for an emphatic victory at Down Royal. Landrake made a successful hurdling debut over 2m3f at Clonmel then made most for a convincing success over 2m4f at Fairyhouse. French bumper winner Intranet beat a big field of maidens at Punchestown on his debut for Willie Mullins but couldn't cope with Grade 1 company and his stablemate Facile Vega at Leopardstown and will find this more to his liking. However, PATH D'OROUX finished in front of him in the latter race having been in touch until the last and gets the nod in a tight little race.
