    Verdict

Glittering Choice has to give 4lb and upwards to her rivals but did return to something like her best at Newcastle this month in Class 5 company. She's been nudged up 1lb for that run and is a leading contender in this same grade. In contrast, CAPPARIS has been contesting Class 6 business, but has landed two of her last three starts, including a convincing victory here in December. She has not been harshly treated by the handicapper and can handle this rise in class. Jubilee Girl has shown ability in her four outings but will need to improve again based on evidence to date, with similar comments applicable to Pink Haze. Midgetonamission, a four-time winner on artificial surfaces, has been below par so far in the current winter campaign.
