Verdict

Bumper and hurdles winner Cayd Boy looked just in need of the experience when beaten a length on his chasing debut at Wexford when MT LEINSTER was just behind in third. The latter had attempted to make all but a couple of errors in the latter stages put paid to his chances and he can reverse the form on this quicker surface. The mare Kapard made a successful hurdling debut at Roscommon last September before following up at Wexford and raced in much stronger company later. She's very much bred for chasing and her allowance should aid her cause. The selection's stable companion Rambranlt'jac looks best of the remainder and Balaclava was engaged in the 12.30 at Gowran yesterday.
