Cousins David and Patrick Mullins fought out a tight finish of a similar event at Punchestown on board Elsie and Shesafoxylady with the favourite TOE THE LINE and Magic Vixen not far behind. Elsie finished first past the post but was placed second for interfering with the runner-up, who got the verdict, but it's John Kiely's mare who could reverse the form and take this. She'll be better suited by a stronger test of stamina, which Derek O'Connor will no doubt ensure she gets, and hopefully can recoup losses. Princess Leya looks a major threat to all after her facile victory at Cork but the remainder look to be fighting for places.
