In depth
Verdict
Good Egg was a fortunate winner on his last start over the course and distance in December and a 6lb rise takes him onto his highest mark. Mr Cosmopolitan hasn't had much experience so it was a very encouraging effort to get close to Never Complain at Down Royal on St Patrick's Day. KNOCK BEAUTY has really found her form and defied a 10lb rise for her success at Thurles to score with a bit in hand over today's rival Crowded Room here last week. She's up another 9lb but looks capable of completing a hat-trick with Ger Fox's claim helping her confirm the form. Mister First was awarded the race at Clonmel after an enquiry following the initial first-past-the-post effort of More Madness, who hung badly left. It was still a very good run by the eventual winner and connections won't be unhappy with a 4lb rise. Carloswayback was beaten 16 lengths in that event after returning from a victory between the flags at Ballydarragh.
