Verdict
Mistress Of Venice was fourth in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot when trained by James Given but hasn't run since beaten a head in a novices' contest at Redcar in August 2017. CAPTAINOFTHEBOUNTY hasn't done much wrong and probably ran into a smart performer when beaten a length by Irish 1000 Guineas entry Nevereversaynever at Dundalk. He can go one better though with Jim Bolger starting the new campaign in blistering form It's Not Too Late will attract support despite last month's run at Dundalk coming over 7f. Glamorous Power showed very good speed in both starts on fast going last summer and should be winning soon while Nicaro showed enough debut promise to be entered in a Curragh Listed race but couldn't handle the company. Count D'Orsay finished a very good sixth in that latter event but has been disappointing subsequently.
