In depth

Verdict

Albion Square put a moderate debut behind when just failing to hold off The Entertainer over slightly shorter here a couple of weeks ago with subsequent winner She's Trouble back in third. Jessica Harrington's Acclamation colt looks certain to get into contention but the winner's yard is represented by ADMIRALOFTHEBLUE, who cost 130,000gns as a foal and almost double that as a yearling. A son of No Nay Never, a Group 2 entry suggests he's well regarded. The remaining pair with experience need to find improvement but the 160,000gns purchase Laakhof is a half-brother to two winning two-year-olds and out of a 6f winner so should have pace to burn.
