In depth

Verdict

ADELISA was always in the front rank and kept battling away when runner-up to Create Belief, who has since won a major handicap at the Curragh, over a mile at Gowran and should be ideally suited by today's extra. She had stable companion Powerful Aggie five lengths behind and the latter then won at Sligo where she had White Pepper, Alice Kitty and Annecherie behind. The latter was making her debut and ran green so should improve while Sunniyra reappeared at Leopardstown when looking in need of the run. The latter is expected to make progress this campaign and looks the main threat.
