Verdict
Si Senior was well suited to soft ground when landing a Sligo maiden over the trip so further rain would be to his advantage. Mr Saturday wasn't beaten far in either start back in May but ran poorly at the Curragh earlier this month. Veracidad has performed with credit in a couple of decent nurseries in recent weeks and has dropped to a lowly mark but the vote goes to SANSHIRO (NAP). Runner-up in a soft-ground Curragh nursery over 6f, he only faded close home over the same track and trip next time and should find this less daunting.
