Verdict
Lord Shanakil is best served by the framing this Conditions race but YAA WAYL is on better form and is therefore given the verdict while Dafeef should to have more to offer and looks a live contender. A winner of a decent handicap at Chester two starts ago the pick was only just found a Group Class horse too good in listed company last time. The yard have been in form for some time and receiving weight from most he looks to have strong claims. Lord Shanakil is taking a big step down in class having competed at Group level for some time now including a not beaten far fifth in the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot last time. He won a Group One last term and if at his best might be hard to beat. Dafeef is the least exposed of these runners and his win at Salisbury in a good handicap two starts ago promised more to come. That wasn't forthcoming in this class last time but it looks too early to write him off. Mujood looks to have a bit to prove on current form although isn't weighted out of a challenge but in a competitive little race Yaa Wayl is given the vote.
