In depth

Verdict

Maid To Perfection is a likely absentee here if there is insufficient rain. A chance is given to Absolute Charmer, who although taking six attempts to break her maiden, has ran up against some decent sorts. She was given a decent ride last time out by Steve Drowne and she could be difficult to beat if Richard Hughes is able to dictate. Approaching Storm has been a little disappointing since beating Prompt Payment at the track in June. She appears to like some cut in the ground and is avoided today. Tidal and Crystal Valkyrie were first and second in a fillies handicap here in July but with the Hills team in such buoyant form, a reverse could be on the cards. Littlemissattitude has been given a mark of 70 but will need to improve on previous racecourse efforts if she is to take a hand in proceedings today.
