Verdict

It’s been some time since Monumental Man won on Turf but he was narrowly beaten on the all-weather a fortnight ago and can figure with a similar effort. On A Roll attempted to make all at Windsor on her handicap debut but ran out of steam in the closing stages so this drop back to 5f seems a logical move. But ICONIC KNIGHT finished runner-up in a higher grade sprint than this at Haydock last time and Ed Walker’s charge gets the vote in this lesser company with an apprentice’s allowance further helping his cause. Captain Ryan should be thereabouts off today’s mark and makes most appeal of the rest.
