Several of the fancied runners are better known as chasers but NOT A ROLE MODEL did win in this grade over hurdles at Fakenham in January and is only 5lb higher. Aintree My Dream won a chase at Wincanton two weeks ago when only 2lb lower but hasn’t been successful over the smaller obstacles in almost four years. Eaton Hill was first past the post ahead of a subsequent winner at Doncaster in December but was disqualified after weighing in light. Equus Millar hasn’t run over timber in almost two years while Mount Mews and Ruacana are probably past their prime.
