Verdict
The booking of Serena Brotherton for Doncaster second Thrave is an obvious plus but it’s five years since Mick Appleby’s charge recorded his only previous success on Turf. Sophosc has won a maiden hurdle at Plumpton since last running on the level but Patrick Millman can steer FAST STEPS back into the winner’s enclosure after a much better effort when third off a higher mark at Windsor. Voltaic is probably the pick of the remainder.
