Verdict

Gary Moore has won this race twice in recent years and MORESWEETS 'N LACE could be good enough today. She had just the one race at Goodwood last season, but has shown good progress on the all-weather this year and has scope for further improvement back on turf. But Beautiful has won three times on Polytrack and finished a creditable third on her turf debut at Yarmouth. She steps up in trip today and makes more appeal than Morning Chief, who has disappointed in a couple of starts over this distance. Mauritino has been in great form over hurdles and can not be ignored as he won six times on the Flat in Germany, while Polytrack winner Lisahane Bog can race off a 7lb lower mark back on this surface.
