Verdict

Muraabit is penalised for winning at York while at the other end of the handicap July’s Beverley winner Lime And Lemon is upped in class. Pink Ribbon won an amateurs’ race at Goodwood recently but several others have been threatening to get their heads in front. Ardamir has been thereabouts in maiden races and Miss Minuty was narrowly beaten at Bath last time. Jimenez went close again at Sandown having won there earlier while Torch and Ladurelli also have claims. David Lanigan runs two with WAPPING just preferred to Dune Dancer having finished runner-up at Lingfield last time and the former gets the speculative vote in an open contest.
