In depth

Verdict

Old Harry Rocks was third at Worcester in October and then only beaten a nose at Uttoxeter. Taunton fourth Paris Bound is a likely improver and Perfect Harmony is an interesting recruit from the point-to-point circuit. The mare Pearlesque is a half-sister to a winning hurdler but a couple of these already have solid form in the book. Absolute Power was only headed inside the final furlong when second to Cadeyrn at Chepstow last month but BANG ON FRANKIE produced an even better effort on debut when third in a Listed bumper at Ascot and Colin Tizzard’s charge can get his head in front today.
