In depth

Verdict

Capla Berry goes the hat-trick but has been raised a further 6lb. Mamillius is rarely beaten far and his last victory came off a 2lb higher mark. Ragstone View and Plunger could figure on their best form but the three-year-olds may dominate this with INHALATION taken to end a difficult week for trainer Ed Vaughan by adding to his victory at Yarmouth. Karibana has been knocking on the door on the all-weather and Punchbowl Flyer has yet to run a bad race while Top Secret warrants a mention on his second at Chepstow. Fromnowon won a novice event at Windsor and an opening mark of 74 is not excessive.
