In depth

Verdict

Kemari was back to something like his best when winning a Listed contest at Newmarket but his half-brother KLONDIKE is less exposed. The latter has come up against leading fancies for the St Leger the last twice, including in a Group 3 at Headquarters last month, and this slower ground will suit. Arrest is penalised for winning the Chester Vase back in May but Jack Darcy was only beaten by the higher-rated Hamish at Goodwood recently and is preferred to Enemy and the returning Shandoz.
