In depth

Verdict

Soft ground has had its part to play in this small turnout so we will hope that BRAVEHEART MOVE can put up a better display today with Baccalaureate and Devil To Pay the alternatives. Jonjo O'Neill's recent recruit did not jump well on debut but that run followed a gelding operation and an absence so we are prepared to forgive him that black mark. Baccalaureate started off his career with Andre Fabre in France. Connections have not avoided some of the better novices in his British campaign so far. Devil To Pay was a modest middle distance handicapper for John Dunlop. He proved very easy to back at Bangor on debut. Mallorey has been well beaten in his attempts at the winter game thus far. Windpfeil was moderate on the flat and appears not to have improved for the switch to hurdling. Braveheart Move is not without questions to answer though he possesses the class that others lack.
