Verdict

There are plenty of unexposed types in this including recent all-weather winners Moqarrar and Qaysar. The former cost 120,000gns as a yearling and is preferred of that pair while Tallow arrives on a hat-trick after victories at Doncaster and Southwell in November. OLIVER REED ran well on soft going here last July and also on his final start at Goodwood in what was a very strong maiden. On that evidence, he’s well treated in this on a mark of 80 as he’s sure to appreciate the extra furlong. Jellmood and Albishr are looking a little exposed but Mr Top Hat had decent form over 6f last year, including here, and is unlikely to be far away if ready following his winter break. Nobleman's Nest won over this trip at Doncaster in September but has to concede weight all round.
