Verdict

Hardly a handicap with 4lb separating the entire field. Yatwee is fascinating off topweight as he's been absent for 555 days but it must be significant that Godolphin persist with the Hard Spun gelding. Makzeem, lightly-raced since the autumn of 2017, continues to contest quality events and is now down to a mark below 100 for the first time since September 2017. WAR GLORY was below par last time but that represented a rare blip on an otherwise useful record in strong handicaps and he's expected to bounce back and go well. Raydiance delivered competitive efforts last month and is respected and Shady McCoy would be a player off a tumbling mark if recapturing something like his best.
