Verdict

Rebel Rebellion will probably be heading back to Aintree next month but is a consistent sort at this level and back over a more suitable trip after his latest second at Exeter - he has the beating of recent Doncaster winner Bobcatbilly on Ascot running in January. This has proved too far for Grey Gold in the past and Wincanton winner Keel Haul also has his stamina to prove, though did win over 3m between the flags. An early blunder put paid to Kings Lad at Cheltenham but he's capable of better and Wiestentraum arrives in good form. He easily beat Carrigmorna King at Warwick before scoring at Fakenham, though this might be on the sharp side for Lucy Wadham's charge nowadays. Last year's winner Pepite Rose isn't without a chance but PERSIAN SNOW was only beaten a length by Johns Spirit off this mark at Cheltenham in October. He's been highly tried since and can take advantage of today's slight drop in class.
