Verdict
The Irish Rover represents Aidan O'Brien and he's been running well at a high level and the ground should be in his favour. Kessaar didn't appear to appreciate ground with some give at Ripon but made no mistake when sent to Kempton for a Group 3 where he was impressive. True Mason has been placed at Group 2 and 1 level in France since scoring on very fast going at Nottingham and was a long way in front of Marie's Diamond in the Prix Morny at Deauville though that was nowhere near the latter's form. SHINE SO BRIGHT was sent to the Sales after scoring at Nottingham and finishing fifth in the Coventry Stakes and made £375,000. He joined Andrew Balding and has been placed in Group 2's at Goodwood and York and can get his first victory for new connections. Garrus is taking a massive step-up in grade but has a smart pedigree and can go well at a fair price.
