Jackpot Royale has been running well all summer and has progressed into a smart handicapper. He's up 4lb from his latest victory at Salisbury but can get into contention again. Letsbe Avenue made all to win over a mile on the latter track after scoring over the straight mile here. He's only been raised 1lb but both victories were gained on very fast going. Ragstone View beat Jackpot Royale here in June and then lost out narrowly to Letsbe Avenue on a return visit. The latter pair have made the better progress but Rod Millman's charge is weighted to beat them both. Mutafarrid disappointed in his two early season runs though probably found the going too quick but it's about time BERTOG was winning a race. John Mackie's charge has been caught in the closing stages the last twice and his two earlier efforts at York suggest he should go well here.
