        Verdict

        A very hard race to sum up as there are a number of newcomers racing on soft going so the advice is to follow the betting, looking out for the likes of Holiday Camp. Prime Contender, Westland, Physical and Bailey Gate, but maybe the so far disappointing World Report can improve on the rain-softened going. Looking at the field and Barry Hills' Holiday Camp should be watched out for in the betting. while Prime Contender could be the weaker of the two Hills runners based on jockey bookings. Amanda Perrett also runs two, Physical and Westland, and they are both interesting at this level. Much as World Report has been disappointing, including when backed at Chepstow two runs ago, he might fare better on this going, while his stablemate, Bailey Gate, would be interesting if supported in the betting, being a half-sister to Ringmoor Down, and Virgin's Tears showed some promise at York on her debut and drops two furlongs in trip now. The others have something to prove, in our view, so the best advice we can give is watch the betting but, without that, a small nibble each-way on World Report might have its appeal.
