Verdict

Shalambar has already won at Doncaster and Warwick this season but was well beaten off this mark at Sandown last time. The hard-pulling Wild Desert has changed stables since pulling up over a longer trip at Doncaster last month, but Robin De Creuse and Raduis Bleu have been knocking on the door and Master Fiddle should also be winning soon judged on his recent third to Raya Star at Doncaster. Alcalde was second to The Chazer over 2m1f here last time after winning at Fakenham and Flicka's Witness has been placed in all three starts over timber so far. But the booking of the talented Peter Carberry for BIG ROBERT catches the eye in this as Matt Sheppard's entire had some decent form the Flat on this quicker surface and was just beaten in a decent maiden on good ground over hurdles at Punchestown in the autumn.
