    Verdict

Crystal Malt has yet to finish out of the first two in three runs this term but was found wanting on the only previous occasion she was tried this longer trip. Azilian stays further, however, while Frantical won over 1m at Nottingham in the autumn and could figure if fully wound-up. Scots Fern should do better now going handicapping while Azzir ran his best race so far on his reappearance when second over 1m2f at Haydock. GEN I AM (NAP) is much improved this year and was beaten less than a length at Salisbury after winning on Turf at Lingfield. She was third over this trip at Windsor so seems certain to be in the shake-up. Shell Bay is proving frustrating but could sneak into a place.
