    Verdict

Asoof won over today’s trip before beaten over 1m4f at Doncaster and Silver Crescent finished runner-up over the latter trip at Wolverhampton. Sweet Charity was second over track and trip a fortnight ago while Sergio Leone won an amateurs' race over a mile here last time. Tahreek is also upped in distance after scoring at Nottingham and is 6lb higher today and DIVE FOR GOLD (NAP) makes his handicap debut. John Gosden’s charge won over 1m2f at Salisbury before finding a subsequent handicap winner too good in novice company on the all-weather and there should be plenty more to come from him.
