In depth

Verdict

MINELLA ROCCO can complete what should be a good start for fans of Jonjo O'Neill and A P McCoy as he was hugely impressive when beating the odds-on West Wizard on his hurdling debut at Kempton. The third had already shown decent form so the five-year-old looks one to follow. Royal Vacation was third to the potentially smart Qewy over 2m here earlier in the month and will have improved for the experience. He might be the one for forecast-backers as it took Local Show four attempts to get off the mark and that was over 3m. April Dusk was only beaten a neck on his hurdles bow but is another who might be suited by a bit further.
